Mr. Crocker was the pilot of an airplane that crashed in Colorado on 10-2-1970 that killed 13 Wichita State University Football Players. Eleven people survived the crash.

He is the son of Mr. Eugene & Mrs. Verne {Barnes} Crocker of Henry, Illinois, and he was a 1962 graduate of Henry H.S., and received his pilot's license in Bloomington, Illinois in 1965.

He is the husband of Mrs. Noreen Crocker, and the father of two daughters, Miss Heidi, and Miss Terri, and one son, Joey, all at home
