Frances B. (Kasip) Cohen 92 of Longmeadow died Friday at home. Born in Easthampton, MA she was a life long resident of this area. She was married to Norman N. Cohen, who preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Cohen and her husband were the founders and owners of Norco Distributing. She was an active philanthropist, generously supporting the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, Bnai Jacob Synagogue, Western New England University, National Jewish Health and Memorial Sloan Kettering. Mrs. Cohen was a former member of B'nai Jacob Synagogue and the Springfield JCC she was a current member of Temple Beth El and the Jewish Nursing Home of W.Mass. A grave side service will be 11:00 AM Monday at B'nai Jacob Cemetery in West Springfield, the Ascher-Zimmerman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
