Dr. Thomas H. Mayo, DDS, age 89, of Dresden, died Thursday October 13, 2011 at his home in Dresden. Graveside memorial services for Dr. Mayo will be Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN with burial to immediately follow. Friends should gather at the cemetery just prior to services.

Dr. Mayo is survived by three sons; Basil L. (Diana Castle) Mayo and Thomas H. (Kathy) Mayo, Jr both of Hawaii, and Mark D. (Kelley) Mayo of Franklin, TN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister Ellen Schleich of Greenfield, TN.

Dr. Mayo was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Arbuckle Mayo and his parents, Basil Sylvester and Ruby Hillis Mayo.
