Was a minister having pastored the Metz Church of God of Prophecy for over 50 years. This is the same church she laid in state with fellow ministers taking turn as honor guards at the head and foot of her casket. She also was church camp director for several years (10 or 11). There are several pastors that attended youth camp during those years. Also one gospel music singer Steve Chapman of "Steve and Annie Chapman".
