GRIGSBY, ELIZABETH MAE, Jan 6, 1943 - June 9, 2003
Elizabeth spend 20 years living on and off the streets of Dallas, mostly homeless.
She thanks the many agencies and charities that helped her during that time. For the last few years of her life, she was cared for by Grace United Methodist Church. She lived her life for God and taught many of us about love.
She wrote "My Jesus, My Savior and teacher, Use me but O Lord don't refuse me for I will go where you want me to go, for surely there is work, I can still do for you."
After receiving diagnosis and treatment through Grace Miracle Works and The Stewpot, she was able to spend the last 2 years of her life in comfortable and safe housing.
She brought joy to many and will be missed.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 25th at Grace United Methodist Church, 4105 Junius Street at 12:00 noon.
Donations may be made in her memory to Grace Miracle Works, 4205 Junius - Dallas, TX 75246.
