Julie Wynn Cobb, 38, of Union City died Oct. 9, 2011, at her home.

Burial in East View Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Charles Cowell, Charles Callis, Bill Jackson, Danny Jones, Bill Harrison, Jerry Paschall and George Fisher. Honorary pallbearers will be David Owen Tomlinson Sr., Dave Tomlinson, Ricky Brown, Gary Alley, Bob Lafever and Jerry Sherril.

The family requests that memorials be made to Sunswept Baptist Church.

She was born Sept. 25, 1973, in Obion County, daughter of Wanda (White) Cobb of Union City and the late Woodie Cobb Jr. She was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church and was a 1991 graduate of Obion County Central High School, where she received her diploma with honors. She was also elected a Class Favorite and "Best Personality."

She is also survived by her brother, Mark Stacey Cobb of Jackson; her uncle and aunt, Bob and Trena Taylor of Union City; and two cousins, Stephanie Irvine of Union City and Andrea Hayes of Nashville
