She was born Jan. 14, 1902, in Lancaster, a daughter of Nathan and Anna (Alhum) Schaeffer, and married Mark E. Augustine, who died Sept. 27, 1959. Surviving are four sons, M. Elwood of Wilmington, Del., Frederick S. of Lititz and Paul N. and John S. of Altoona, and six grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Good Fellowship Sunday School Class, Col. John Proctor Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and Ladies' Auxiliary of Mountain Commandery. She was a graduate of Hood College and a member of the Hood Club of Altoona. Friends will be received in the Saleme Funeral Home, Juniata, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
AUGUSTINE - Services for Mary S. Augustine of 1301 18th ave., will be held in the Saleme Funeral Home, Juniata, at 10 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Albert Kingsley. Interment in Greenwood cemetery, Lancaster.
