Infant McHugh was the first child born to T.C. and Ella McHugh. He lived for only 4 hours. T.C. was a prominent businessman in the Bellingham area. T.C. and his brother-in-law, Bernard Montague, owned and operated the Montague-McHugh department store in downtown Bellingham. Infant McHugh's headstone had been lost over time. A new marker was placed over his grave in September of 2008 by Chuck McHugh, the youngest son of T.C. and Ella.
