A native of Grant County, he was a son of the late Martin A. and Elizabeth Ann (Murphy) Becker. His wife, Mildred M. (Paugh) Becker died in 1969.
He was a member of Mt. Carbon Lodge 28 AF &AM, Piedmont.
Surviving are three sons, Eugene Becker, Tokyo, Japan, Martin Becker, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Robert Becker, New Creek and five grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at the Brick Church of the Brethren, Maysville today at 2 p.m. Rev. James A. Heckman and Rev. Harley DeLeuere will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bayard Cemetery.
