Mrs. M.E.Kline Passes Away

Resident of Broadway Section Has Been Ill Three Weeks Funeral Wednesday.

Mrs. Sally Kline, aged 74, widow of Noah F. Kline and a well known resident of the Broadway section, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at her home three miles
west of Broadway following an illness of three weeks.

Death was due to pneumonia.

Mrs. Kline was born Dec. 5, 1864 near Luray and was a daughter of the late J. A. and Martha Racer.

On Aug. 1, 1889 she was united in marriage with Mr. Kline, who died on Aug. 28, 1936.

Since her marriage she has made her home in the Broadway section where she was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her.

On April 5, 1890, Mrs. Kline united with the Church of the Brethren. She was a woman of sterling Christian character and was noted for her kindness.

Her husband was a well known farmer and orchardist in the Broadway section.

She is survived by two brothers, J. A. Racer, of Luray and William Racer, of York Spring, Pa., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Kibler, of Luray.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Linville Creek Church with friends meeting at the home at 2 o'clock.

Services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. S. D. Lindsay, assisted by Rev. A. J. Fitzwater.

Burial will be in Linville Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Roy Mason, Preston Brown, A. W. Rosenberger, Fred Taylor, Dan Moyers amd J. H. Turner.
