A cosmetologist and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at home. She was 69. Visiting at New Southside Funeral Home, 924 S. 14th St., on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visiting continues at Interdenominational Faith Assembly on Monday, Oct. 10, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Pastor Guevara Johnson. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by a loving companion, Herman Mouton; daughter, Lois Hall; nieces, Lenise London and Denise Shavers; nephew, Bryan Stevenson; sisters, Mary Allen Cornelius, and Lucille and husband John Batieste; godsister, Shirley Horton; godchild, Sharon West; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Stevenson; and brothers, Roger and Milton Stevenson.
