Elsie Gladys Sisler, 87, of Core, WV died Sunday February 8, 1986 at the home of her daughter, Leona Sine. She was born Oct 1, 1898 in Tucker County, a daughter of the late Joshua and Susan V. Dawson Walker Lipscomb. She was a member of the Evangelist in Winchester, VA.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Moats of Lake Lynn, Pa and Alvin Moats, Millville, NJ,
four daughters, Leona Sine of Core, Goldie Chambers of Grafton, Ardith Moats of Winchester, Va and Ivy Graham of Charles Town, WV, 52 grandchildren, 70 Great Grand children and eight Great Great Grand children. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mack Arthur Moats and her second husband, Charles Sisler, one sister, one son, two half brothers and two grand children. Friends may call at the Owen-Neeley funeral Home in Blacksville from 7 -9 Monday. services will be held in the funeral home at 2. P.M. Tuesday with the rev. Brent J. Dugan officiating Burial will be in the Olive Cemetery.

Grandmother Elsie only knew her mother's name to be Susan Walker, (Since Walker was the name of her half brothers) Grandmother Elsie did not know her mother's maiden name.
