She was born Sept. 16, 1945, in Peoria, Ill., to Lloyd R. and Nelda B. (Loeffler) Harrison. She married John J. Bundy. He preceded her in death in 1987.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stan; and nephew, Todd.
Surviving are three children, John (Jacque) Sumner of Ocala, Fla., Linda (Ron) Sumner of Peoria and Mike (Barb) Joyner of Germantown Hills; three stepchildren, Jeff, Deb and Shane Bundy; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Heather, Anthony, Andrea, Tabitha, Robert, Morgan and Audrey; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty (Jerry) Doubet of Mapleton.
Brenda worked at Caterpillar Inc., later working as a manager at Circle K before retiring.
She was a member of Bethany Community Church in Washington. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was an avid Bradley Braves Basketball and Chicago Cubs fan and was a member of the Braves Club, where two of her children graduated from.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the chapel, with the Rev. Daniel Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
