Debbie was the daughter of Cordelia "Cordia" Carnes and Gordon Bailey.

Debbie first married Jessie Evans and had 2 children
Ellen who died in 1913 at age 2 and
William Butler "Pee Jibb" who married Mary Elizabeth Renfro and they are both buried in this cemetery.

Debbie next married Otto Messer and they had the following children, several buried this cemetery:

married James Franklin Scalf then Mr. Blevins. Had 9 children. Moved to Cincinatti. Looking for her burial location – can you help?

2. Dora West 1917 – 1998
had family in Bedford, Ohio. Buried with her husband’s maternal family in Camden, Lorain, Ohio.

3. Denver 5 Oct 1918 Flat Lick, Knox – 11 Jan 1919 Artemus, Flat Lick died in infancy

4. James D 24 Nov 1919 - 31 Jul 2005 Westlake, Cuyahoga County Ohio

8. Margaret “Lena” Burik 1926 – 2014 Retired in Florida. Provided wonderful interview of her parents and grandparents discussing the Great Depression and farm living in Knox County.

9. Ruth Wagner Panzuto 10 Feb 1932 Turkey Creek, Knox
1 Aug 1970 marriage record in Summit County, Ohio to
Philip Panzuto 22 May 1932. Moved to Fort Myers, Florida.
