Robert Clark Elder was the son of David Elder and Isabella Clark.
He married Elizabeth Kinniburgh on Oct. 15, 1879 in Godmanchester. To this union were born five children: James Hugh, Margaret Isabella, Elsie Elizabeth, Robina Mary and David Ronald. Robert's birth, marriage and death records are recorded on the Church Registers for Huntingdon, Quebec.
In the Huntingdon Gleaner there is only mention of this:
