Donna Sue Gassaway, 63, Scottsville, passed away Monday, September 05, 2011, at the Medical Center, Scottsville. The Hart County native was the daughter of the late Buford and Lavora Brooks Bartley, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll Gassaway, Scottsville; a son, David Gassaway, Glasgow; a daughter, Carlan Birge, Scottsville; two brothers, Murel Bartley (Sharolyn) Florence, Kenneth Bartley, Miami; seven sisters, Wilma Anderson and Lou Horton, both of Edmonton, Emily Cornell (AL), Indiana, Ann Lamb (Larry) TN, Rana Miller, Paducah, Betty Johnson, Bonnieville, Mary Ferguson (Gayron), Louisville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Bartley.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, September 8th at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.
