A lifelong native of Screven County, she was a former supervisor at White Stag and an inspector with Torrington. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Elizabeth Bible Study Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reamer Eugene "Gene" Brinson; parents, Mary Lou Lively and Harry Jason Burke; and step-mother, Reba Lambert Burke.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Regina B. and Timmy Joe Owens; a son, Randall McBride, all of Sylvania; brothers and sister-in-law, Earl Burke and Jack and Mary Burke; sister, Shelby Jean McDaniel; brother-in-law, James Brinson, all of Millen; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Carol Brinson, of Sugar Valley, GA; and two grandchildren, Trenton Owens and Tyler Owens.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 9, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Screven Memorial Cemetery.
