Arthur V. Olson was born the youngest of eight children born to Peter and Augusta Olson. Both of Arthur's parents were born in Sweden. Arthur Olsen grows up near Milaca, MN, first helping with farm work for his family, then becoming a rural mail carrier. He marries Mary Hubbard on Dec. 15, 1923. They have one daughter together, Joan Neree Olson. This first marriage of Arthur V. Olson ends in divorce in 1942. Arthur Olson marries a second time to Mary Hall Ames and he has a son and daughter in his second marriage. Arthur Olson and his second family live in Lake Elmo, MN and Arthur Olson becomes a nurseryman and grower. Arthur V. Olson lives to age 63, dying in 1963.
