Mrs. Audrey S. Gehre of 320 W. 3rd St., San Dimas, died Thursday at 6:30 A.M. in Pomona Valley Community Hospital after an illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Gehre was born May 10, 1889, in Stromsburg, Neb. She resided in York and Comstock in Nebraska before coming to California 29 years ago. She had resided in San Dimas for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Leonard F. Gehre of Gibbon, Neb., Harold A. Gehre of La Verne, and Lloyd J. Gehre of San Gabriel; two daughters, Mrs. Verona G. Churchill of La Verne, and Mrs. Dorothy M. Enderich of South Gate; a brother, Henry Swanson of Arthur, Neb., a sister Mrs. Rebecca Christensen of Ansley, Neb.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 P.M. in Todd Memorial Chapel Pomona. The Rev. Donald E. Meier, pastor of the San Dimas United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Pomona Cemetery.
