GROVE - George F. Wills, 99, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at Grove Nursing Center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, at Rose Hill Chapel, Rose Hill Cemetery, Tulsa, Okla.
George Frederick Wills was born on August 24, 1903 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Henry and Mary Will. He was a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma with Civil Engineering and Business Administration degrees. He married Henryetta Beard on June 9, 1928 in Sapulpa, Okla. She preceded him in death. Mr. Wills worked as a Repair Supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 35 years. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and enjoyed gardening, travel and furniture repair.
Survivors include: two daughters, Georgia Riggs, Grove, and Nancy Wills, Tulsa; three granddaughters, Jennifer McSweeny, Tulsa, Joelle Krason, Oklahoma City, and Jana Gorman, Bartlesville, Okla.; four great grandchildren, Ryan McSweeny, Molly McSweeny, Riggs Gorman and Regan Gorman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers, Ray and James Will.
Services are entrusted to the Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, Grove, 918-786-5172.
