Ruth was married to Rev. Cecil Douglas Vincent on Aug. 17, 1931 and lived most of her life in Shannon and Oregon counties in Missouri. She became a missionary and reading teacher to the Navajo Indians in Gallup, New Mexico and supported her husband in his ministry. She was a devoted mother to Rosemary, infant Kathleen, infant Delsie Ann, Douglas, Timothy, and John.
