OBITUARY

Esther Mae Archer, daughter of George West and Ruby Boone West, was born at Stratton, Neb. on November 24, 1892. She departed this life at the Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman, Neb. on September 9, 1972, at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 15 days.

On June 6, 1923, at McDonald, she was united in marriage with Harry E. Archer.

Her church membership was with the Federated Church of McDonald. Other memberships included the Order of Eastern Star, of which she was a Past Matron, and the McDonald Garden Club, of which she was a charter member.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Briant, and a sister Glady; also twin brothers and sister who died in infancy.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Harry of the home, near McDonald; sons, Arlie and Ross, also of McDonald; grandchildren, June, Joyce and Allen Archer of McDonald. There are three sisters surviving; Mrs. Leila Morrison of Colby, Mrs. Ferne Chase of Locust Grove, Va., and Miss Hattie West of McDonald. Numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a large number of neighbors and friends all join in cherishing her memory.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, from the Federated Church with the Rev. C. L. Swihart officiating. Interment was in Grace Cemetery, McDonald.
