Survivors were three sons, Calvan and Earnest of Kansas City, Kansas, and Lester Ray of Van Buren, Arkansas; seven daughters, Faye, of Van Buren; Pauline of Lavaca, Arkansas, Lucille of Long Beach, California, Dorothy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Anivea of Barling, Earline of Van Buren, and Patsy Jean of the home; a sister Lela of Lavaca; eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the First Baptist church at Central with Sam Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Mayberry cemetery, near Central with Edwards Funeral Home in charge.
