BIG STONE GAP, Va. -- Donna Gail Bush Cooper, 53, went to be with the Lord following an extended illness on Saturday, June 7, 2003.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1949, in Exeter, Va. She was the daughter of the late Cammie Bush Jr. and Ada Bush.
She attended school at Appalachia, Va., through the 11th grade and graduated the following year from Highland High School, Sparta, Ohio.
She was a former employee of Central Supply for 17 years and retired from Southwest Insurance Agency after seven years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star Appalachia Chapter 26. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are husband, Sid Pat Cooper; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and David Harkleroad of Big Stone Gap; mother, Ada Bush of Centerburg, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Carol Bush of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; sister and brother-in-
law, Vicki and Larry Houck of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandson, Chad Harkleroad; and granddaughter, Lauren Harkleroad; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and special friends.
She was a very loving person who touched everyone's heart.

An Eastern Star service will immediately follow visitation conducted by Appalachia Order of Eastern Star 26.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Nick Brewer at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at Appalachian First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
