Funeral services for longtime Lampasas resident Albert Glyn Teague, 93, were June 27, 2007, at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Reid Schaub officiated. Burial was at Hurst Ranch Cemetery at Star. Mr. Teague died June 25 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.
He was born Feb. 15, 1914, to Effie and Joseph Teague. Mr. Teague married Lottie Loretta Hurst on Nov. 8, 1936. They were married for 63 years until her death on Aug. 19, 2000.

He was a disabled veteran of World War II and attained the rank of sergeant. After retiring from Civil Service at Kelly Field in San Antonio in 1960, the Teagues moved to Lampasas. Mr. Teague wore many different hats. He was a farmer, rancher, pipe fitter, airplane mechanic, truck driver, maintenance worker, cook and a construction superintendent.

Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn Teague and Karlene Wadsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Olin Teague and Claude Teague, and by a sister, Lorain Merrill. Arrangements by Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors of Lampasas."
