Conley Orear "Jack" "Buddy" Brown, Jr. is the son of Conley Orear "Jack" Brown, Sr. (Jan. 21, 1900 AL - Dec. 17, 1973 AL) and Nora Elizabeth "Teenie" Gober Brown (Oct. 05, 1905 AL - Dec. 21, 1973 AL). People outside the family called him by the nickname of "Jack", the same nickname as his Father. His parents, siblings, and cousins called him by the nickname "Buddy"
He was the brother of:
(1.) Betty Lou Brown McGehee (Jan. 02, 1928 AL - Aug. 1987 AL)
(2.) Jo Ann "Joan" Brown Belyeu (Feb. 03, 1932 AL - Jan. 06, 2006 AL)
Conley Orear "Jack" "Buddy" Brown, Jr.'s funeral was held at Morgan Chapel in Etowah Co., AL with the Revs. Billy Burtram and Tim Walker officiating.
He married first to Mary Powell and they had two sons:
(1.) Chris Randall Brown (May 26, 1960 AL - Sept. 02, 1982 Hawaii, USA)

Conley Orear "Jack" Brown, Jr. was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Altoona, AL. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was Shriner and was Shriner of the Year for "1994". He was Secretary and Treasurer of the Clown Unit of the Gadsden, Etowah Co., Alabama Shriners.
He was a member of the Queen City Eastern Star OES No. 135
and Master Mason of Lodge No. 236. He was a member of Zamora Temple.
