Anne Lora Butler (Foss), 46, of Mountain Home, went home to be with her father on Aug. 27, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Mountain
View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Anne (Cricket, as she was known to her family) was born on March 1, 1965, in Ohio, the youngest of eight children. She spent the first five years of her life traveling, since her father was in the military. He retired in Mountain Home, where she grew up.

Anne has two sons, Scott and Kristopher Swenson. Anne enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping and fishing, and she also liked to find great bargains at local thrift stores.

She worked for a time in one of the thrift stores in Mountain Home and excelled as a paralegal.

She had a ready sense of humor and loved her Boxer dogs, Chaos and Sophie.

Anne remained friendly with her ex-husband, Danny Swenson, and although separated, with her husband, Dana Butler. Anne also loved spending time with her good friend, Doug Collins.

We love and miss her and wish her peace.

Anne is survived by her two sons, her mother, Majella Foss, her seven older siblings and their spouses, Deborah Majewski and her husband, Michael, William Foss and his wife, Sally, Robert Foss, Laura Taylor and her partner, Auddie Mills, Douglas Foss, Margaret Ham and her husband, Bob, Sharon Schafer and her husband Marc, 12 nieces and nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.

Anne was preceded in death by her father, Conrad Foss, her four grandparents and her niece, Christy Taylor.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,

The Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen
from the family tree
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me"
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song
The good life I lived
while I was strong

Continue my heritage,
I'm counting on you
Keep smiling and surely
the sun will shine through
My mind is at ease,
my soul at rest
Remembering all,
how I truly was blessed

Continue traditions,
no matter how small
Go on with your life,
don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly,
so keep up your chin
Until the days comes
we're together again

Softly the leaves of memory fall
Gently I gather and treasure them all
Unseen, unheard you are always near
So missed, so loved, so very dear
No longer in our lives to share
But in our hearts you're always there

"And maybe, the clouds will open wide. And maybe you'll let us see you smile...
From The Sky

Save A Place For Me

Always a silent hurt
many a silent tear
but always a beautiful memory
of one we love so dear

God gave us strength to bear it
and courage to take the blow
but what it meant to lose you
no one will ever know.

♥✫♪♫.•*✿*•.¸♪♫ ✫♥✫♥✫ ♫♪.•*✿*•.¸♫♪✫♥

God called your name so softly
That only you could hear
And no one heard the footsteps
Of Angels drawing near

The Golden Gates stood open
God saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying; neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Neither will a million tears
I know because I've cried

On August 27, 2011, my sister Cricket went swimming in the lake at Anderson Ranch Dam. She ended up drowning. Death can take her from us, it can't take her memory or the love we have for her. We'll all be reunited again some day!

Memories

I never thought we'd say goodbye
on the day you went away
I folded my hands in front of me
and I began to pray

I asked that God not take you home
said I needed you with me
I begged Him for more time with you
but it was not meant to be

When he took you home to be with Him
my world was changed forever
Yet I know I will never let you go
in my heart we're still together

The tears I cried both day and night
each one was just for you
With all that you still mean to me
each drop holds something true

Each tear brought back a memory
of times we had to share
Memories of you will last a lifetime
'til the day I join you there
