Mrs. Armstrong grew up in Harrisonville, MO. She came to Vernon County in 1975 and has resided here since. She made her living as a nurse's aide at various hospitals.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Davis and his wife Brenda, El Dorado Springs, MO, and Kenneth Davis, Compton Junction, MO; one daughter, Susan Lawton, Birney, MO; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one step-grandchild; one sister Helen Goft, Overland Park, KS; one brother, John Stowe and his wife Dee, of Florida. She was preceded in death by three children, Thomas, Lori, and Donald.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.
Friends may call now and until noon on Tuesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, October 3rd, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
