C.J. wa the beloved son of Calvin Joseph Ford and Minnie Helen Morris Ford.

C.J. had three sisters ~ Mayvean Ford (Kelly), Marlene Ford (Evans) and Gaylene Ford (Hardin).

His grandparents were ~ Charles William Morris and Grace Emaline Hensley Morris.

C.J. and Lavada McCoy were united in marriage on May 19, 1957 at the First Baptist Church in Highfill, Arkansas.

They were blessed with two children ~ daughter Jaleta and son Coy.

C.J. lived most of his life in the Benton and Washington counties. He was a licensed Baptist minister, deacon and member of the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

He held many offices in the churches he had belonged to, including Highfill Baptist, Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs, Manson Valley Baptist Church and was a Charter member of the Robinson Baptist Church.

C.J. raised and loved horses and was a past President and founding member of the Highfill Raiders Riding Club. He also was a member of the Elm Springs Riding Club.

He retired from Jones Truck Line in 1970.

C.J. was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and pawpaw. He is Loved and Missed so much by Family and Friends.

THERE ARE STARS WHO'S LIGHT ONLY REACHES THE EARTH LONG AFTER THEY HAVE FALLEN APART. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO'S REMEMBRANCE GIVES LIGHT IN THIS WORLD LONG AFTER THEY HAVE PASSED AWAY. THE LIGHT SHINES IN OUR DARKEST NIGHT ON THE ROAD WE MUST FOLLOW.
