The funeral will be held Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Christian Church In Maurertown. Reverend Sharon Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fadeley was born July 28, 1937 in Hensley, West Virginia, daughter of the late William Edward Hatcher and Ruby Lee Collins Hatcher Knicely.
She was a 1955 graduate of Woodstock High School and had formerly worked at Windsor Knit and Edinburg Knitting Mill in Edinburg. She was a member of Zion Christian Church and enjoyed traveling excursions with the Old Virginia Funtime Gang.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Franklin Fadeley.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Fadeley Shillingburg of Woodstock; son-in-law, Ronnie Shillingburg, Jr. of Toms Brook; two grandchildren, Thomas Shillingburg and Kaylynn Shillingburg, both of Toms Brook; two sisters, Ramona Hatcher Chapman and her husband Hunter of Culpeper and Cheryl Hatcher Brownell and her husband Mark of Washington, D.C.
The family will receive friends today (Saturday) from 7-8:30 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
