Husband of Anna Long, (daughter of James Long(e) and Elizabeth Cook(e), of Upton, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Ebenezer went to Brookfield to live. He served as a Private in Capt. Peter Harwood's Co, Col. Ebenezer Learned's Regiment. He enlisted 2 May 1775 and was in service for three months and one week. He enlisted for the town of Weston in Captain Coburn's Company, Col. James Converse's Regiment in 1778 and later was in Captain Lane's Company, Colonel Nixon's Regiment. His enlistment is said to have been for three years.
Ebenezer Bacon married Anna Long on the 2nd of March, 1788, at Charlton, Worcester, MA, where he had also been living, near and/or with his brother Daniel Bacon. The couple had two children: Jonathan and Elizabeth "Eliza."
Both of the children of Ebenezer and Anna were married at the New Salem Congregational Church, New Salem, Franklin, MA, by the same minister, Rev. Alpheus Harding -- Elizabeth in 1811 and Jonathan in 1812.
Jonathan Bacon died in 1818, at Charlton, Massachusetts.
Elizabeth moved with her husband, Amos King, to New York state, settling in Nunda, Livingston, New York. Late in life, they followed most of their children to Ionia County, Michigan, where they are buried.
Ebenezer and Anna Bacon moved to Petersham, Worcester, MA, for their final years, where they both died. He in 1827, and her, after.
