Bonnie Faye (Wolfe) Bondurant, 88, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital, Blue Springs. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 1 at Blue Springs Baptist Temple, 4101 SW 7 Hwy., Blue Springs, of which Bonnie was a member. She will be laid to rest in Swan Lake Memorial Park, Grain Valley, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the church. Bonnie was born April 3, 1923, in Prairie Home, Mo., to Lewis and Nettie Wolfe, one of five children. She graduated from Prairie Home High School in 1941 and moved to the KC area working at Pratt Whitney on war planes and then on to Lake City Ammunition Plant and retired from Henry Wrust in 1979. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and Edgar Wolfe; sister, Donzella Kellough; son-in-law, Daniel Sullivan. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Cecil Bondurant; children, Shelia Howard (Jerry), Sharon Sullivan, Sandra Howard (Jean), Virgil Brockman (Gloria), Linda Young (Mike), Marsha Border (Don), David Brockman (Vicki), Richard Brockman (Kendra) and Russell Brockman (Dana); 22 grandchildren; 36 great- grandchildren; brother, Ralph Wolfe; and a large extended family. The family would like to express a special thank you to St. Mary's Hospital nurses and staff and to our sisters, Debbie and Janet Brockman for their love and devotion.
