Sciota Halliburton, 95, Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, in Lakeland, Fla.


She was born May 16, 1910, in Camdenton, Mo., daughter of Charles Bobbitt and Ida Chalphant Bobbitt. She was the widow of W.R. Halliburton

Mrs. Halliburton was a homemaker and member of Lake Ruth Baptist Church, Bartow, Fla. She was a former member of Pleasantview Baptist Church, Clarksville, TN.

Survivors include her daughters, Sciota Anderson, Lakeland, Fla., Roberta Florez, Fort Worth, TX; sons, James "Buck" Halliburton, Steilacoom, Wash., Thomas Halliburton, Waverly, TN; sister, Colette Duncan, Camdenton, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sid Harris, Tony Bennett, James Baggett, Don Wolard, Bobby Morrison, Doug Gaither, Paul Parker and Glen Moore.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. James Clegg officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until hour of service Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.

McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
