Mrs. Nellie Amos

Services for Mrs. Nellie M. Amos, 73, formerly of Parkersburg, who died Thursday at the home in Ocean Springs, Miss, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen G. Engle officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

She was born in Wood County, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary McClain Archer. She was a Red Cross volunteer at the Keesler Air Force Base and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Parkersburg and Kings Daughters in Ocean Springs. She had been a custodian of the form Presbyterian Church on Market Street and an employee of O. Ames and the FMC Corp.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Hartleben of Canton, Ohio, and Robert Hartleben of Waverly, a daughter, Mrs. Betty Helm of Ocean Springs; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Charles R. Amos, preceded her in death in 1977.
