Michael L. Ness, of Bonneauville, entered into God's eternal care, September 25, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident. He was the husband of Alberta (Clabaugh) Ness of Gettysburg, to whom he was married for 4 years.
Born July 15, 1982, in Gettysburg, he was the son of Douglas and Donna (Craig) Ness of Bonneauville.
He served in the United States Army from 2005-2009. During a portion of this time, Michael was stationed in Iraq.
Michael was employed by PenMar Castings of Hanover.
Family was important to Michael, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by two sons, Devan Ness, Gabriel Ness; two daughters, Paige Ness, Chloey Ness all of Bonneauville; two sisters, Tammy Yerby and husband, Shawn of Newport News, VA, Tara Ness and companion Jacob Vail of New Oxford; a nephew, Xavier; nieces, Tatiana, Raigan, Brionca; paternal grandmother, Gladys M. Ness of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Janice M. Craig of Littlestown; paternal great-grandfather, Arthur Stump of Millers, MD; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Harvey L. Ness; and maternal grandfather, Gordon L. Craig, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. September 29, 2011, at Kenworthy Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with Deacon Richard Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
