Married Stanley H. Bodkin on 26 Nov 1954 in Cresaptown, M (Pastor Raymond M. Crowe)
Moved to Fairbanks Alaska with US Army husband) (1955-1957) She worked in the PX there
Moved back to McCoole, Maryland (Stans home) where they raised their 3 children, Mike, Linda and Ron. Ida enjoyed sewing, gardening, hosting family barbecues and spending time with children.
In 1997, she was admitted to Heartland Nursing Home in Keyser where she stayed for 7 years until her death suffering from mini strokes causing dementia. She died from a blood clot probably caused by her recent fall and hip fracture. She was an AMAZING mother to me!
