B. Dairrell Cook, 43, of 648 Annette Avenue., died today at The Medical Center after a long illness. He was born September 1, 1919 in Columbus. He was a son of the late Leon and Lilla Smith Kernes.
A lifelong resident of Columbus, he was the editor of the Textile Gazette and was a member of Linwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Cook, Columbus; two sons, Jack Averett and James Stephen Cook, Columbus; one aunt, Mrs. L. C. Brock, Atlanta and several cousins.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: L. B. Turner, Jack Stokes, Jimmy Coleman, Albert Coleman, H. E. Densmore, George King. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Cook, Columbus; two sons, Jack Averett and James Stephen Cook, both of Columbus; an aunt, Mrs. L. C. Brock, Atlanta, and several cousins.
