MACON, GA - Carl P. Allen, Jr., 83, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Mimbs officiating.
Mr. Allen was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Carl P. and Annie Ethel Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris B. Allen. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a machinist operator. Mr. Allen enjoyed flat track dirt motorcycle racing.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Ann (Steve) Doss of Macon; son, Patrick Keith (Patty) Allen of Macon; daughter, Allyson M. Allen of Dallas, TX; step-daughter, Dorothy Taylor (Vic) Etheridge of Sandersville, GA; two grandchildren, Trent Edward Haines and Tiffany Priscilla Allen.
