At the time of his death he was survived by his mother, Mrs. Carrie Bowlsby of Olean, NY., 3 sisters, Mrs. George Shaw of Ithaca, NY., Mrs. Margaret Barrett and Mrs. J.H. Wilkins, both of Olean, NY. The funeral was held at his mother's home on East State Road Feb. 13, 1934.
