Born January 4, 1929, in Huntington, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George and Gay Booth Cobb.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Allen; one brother, Martin Cobb; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mildred is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Donna Allen of Wayne County, Rodney and Lisa Allen, and Randall Wayne and Tammy Allen, all of Glenwood; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Brenda Allen of Apple Grove, West Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2003, at the Fairfield United Methodist Church, Glenwood. Burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call on the family after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapman's Mortuary, 2851 Third Ave., Huntington.
