Peter was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a steamfitter and was a member of the United Association of BTU Pipefitters Local 178 of Springfield, Mo. He attended the Full Gospel Mission.

Peter died Saturday at 11 p.m. at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a long illness.
