Alberto G. Carbajal entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 1. He was born April 8, 1912, to Secundino and Monica Carbajal. Mr. arbaja1 worked and retired from Kcnnccott Copper Corp. with more than 40 years of service. He was a devout communicant of Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Hurley. Mr. Carbajal's family members are his wife of 61 years, Belia E. Carbajal; his son, Jose S. Carbajal and his wife, Anna Mac; his two daughters, Nicky Morcno and her husband, Gilbert; Juanita Sedillos and her husband, Manuel; his sister, Maria Concha" Gomez and her husband, Lorenzo; brothers in-law, sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildrcn. Mr.Carbajal was a loving grampa to nine grandchildren, Eddie Carbajal, Monica Carbajal and her husband, Bobby Alatorre; Dennis Moreno and Sharon Darrell; Beliuda Morcno and her husband, Mike; Teresa Holguin and her husband, Michael; Manuel C. Sedillos; Ruben Sedillos and his wife, Gloria; Peggy Ortega and her husband, Joe, and Benjamin Sedillos. He was also blessed with 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are his grandsons, Eddie Carbajal, Dennis Moreno, Manuel C. Sedillos. Ruben SetJiilos, his great-grandson, Mikic Davila and his nephew, Manuel Carbajal. Honorary pallbearers are all the rest of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on Sunday, May 4 from 4-7 pin, with a rosary following at 7 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels in Silver City. A Mass was celebrated today at 10 n.m. at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Huricy with the Rev. Dan Porter officiating both services. Mr. Carbajal was laid to rest at the Hanover Cemetery. Gone from our sight, but never our memories —Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.
