Captain Neil C. MacPherson, an old resident, passed away Monday, aged 73 years. The deceased was a retired sea-captain. He had many friends. The gradual decline from advancing years caused his death. His wife and three children survive. The funeral was held Thursday at his home, 13 Heard Street, Rev. Mr. Cathcart of the Third Congregational Church officiating. Interment at Woodlawn.
