Daniel Albright, a retired farmer of Garrett, died December 21, at 6:30 a.m., after 14 month's illness of a heart condition. He was born Feb. 3, 1866, a son of Solomon and Catherine (Garlitz) Albright. He is survived by his wife, Amanda (Enfield) Albright; two sons, William and Walter; four daughters, Mary Belle Meese, Ida Catherine Kennell, Maggie May Boyd and Emma Bevich, and by 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Surviving also are three sisters: Alice Evora Paul, Florence Heining and Pearl Elizabeth Paonessa. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 24, at 2 o'clock in the Garrett Reformed Church, with Rev. F. D. Witmer of Berlin officiating. Interment was made in Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
