Funeral services for Miss Mabel Thaxton, 53, who died in the wreckage of the tornado-crushed R. T. Dennis furniture store here Monday, will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church here at 2pm Saturday. Surviving are four brothers, E. A. Thaxton, A. M. Thaxton and Henry Thaxton, all of Dallas, and Herbert H. Thaxton of Fort Worth, and six sisters, Miss Iola Thaxton of Dallas, and Mrs. Chrissie Ilse, Mrs. Alex Saunders, Mrs. James Murphy, Mrs. W. L. Goble, Jr. and Ophelia Thaxton, all of Waco.
