LeVeda I. Andrews, 79, of Cowden, died at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lockart and Sons Funeral Home in Cowden. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday. Burial in Blue Mound Cemetery, Cowden.
LaVeda was born in Assumption on Oct. 30, 1911, the daughter of Ellis and Lena Nance Prater.
She married Stanley R. Andrews on Mar. 15, 1930 in Waukegan. He died on Mar. 22, 1988.
Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Virginia Andrews Hagen of Lake Villa; two granddaughters, Patty Jackson of Lake Villa and Cindy Ross of Zion; and one great-grandson, Brandon.
