Mrs. Nora Maude (Lemon)Clark, 79 a third cousin of the late President Abe Lincoln, died at her home, 970 82nd Ave, Saturday.
Mrs. Clark's parents were the late David Franklin Lemon and Ellen Cassandra Thrailkill and her grandparents were the late Andrew Jackson Thrailkill and Elizabeth Hanks. Her grandmother and Abe Lincoln were first cousins while Lincoln's mother and Mrs. Clark's grandmother's father were brother and sister.
Mrs. Clark was born Sept 15, 1874 in Fremont County, Sidney, Iowa. She was a member of the Mother Church of Christian Scientist.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Oscar at home; 2 sons, Eugene F., Pomona, CA. Clarence L., Jennings Lodge; daughter Mrs. Thalia E. Mudgett, Oregon City and the late Jewell Clark; 2 brothers, Clyde E. Lemon, St. Joseph Mo.; Claude Andrew Lemon, Newpoint, Mo; and one sister, Mrs. Esther S. Williams, Waukshan, Wis; 8 grandchildren and 6 great children.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, March 17th at Hillside Chapel, Vault interment will be in the Mountain View cemetery.
