According to the Baylor Bulletin, Ex-Student’s Directory, 1920, George Actonw as a student at Baylor University from 1913 to 1915. He served as Captain 1st battalion, 9th infantry, 2nd division with hospital no. 1, A.E.F. while at Sherman. He later served as First Lieutenant, Medical Reserve Corps in the US army in WWI.
