HAYS — John F. Brungardt, 82, a retired Victoria farmer, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Braun, Hays. A native of Victoria, Mr. Brungardt made his home in Hays the last four years. His wife, the former Anna Marie Von Feldt, died in 1914. They were the parents of 16 children.
He is survived by ten children, Mrs. Braun, Mrs. Jake L. Bell, and Mrs. Al Ubert. Hays; Mrs. M. M. Whittman, and Mrs. Tura Hammerschmidt, Walker, Mrs. Killian Lang, Ellis; Sister M. Conrad, El Paso Texas; Sister Lioba Marie, Beloit; Joseph J. and John R., Victoria.
Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
