Funeral services for Volney Acker were at the Zuver and Calvin funeral chapel Sunday, May 9, with the Rev. Norman Clapp of the Federated church, Hartford, officiating. Mr. Acker died at the age of 72 in the State hospital at Kalamazoo. Burial was at Pioneer cemetery.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Acker, deceased, who were residents of Hartford.
